oh-my-claudecode review
oh-my-claudecode is a multi-agent orchestration plugin and CLI for Claude Code that coordinates agent teams and external CLI workers.
TL;DR
oh-my-claudecode (OMC) adds multi-agent orchestration to Claude Code through in-session skills and an `omc` terminal CLI. It is for Claude Code users who want staged team workflows, autopilot runs, and Codex, Gemini, Cursor, or Grok CLI workers in tmux panes. The npm package is published as oh-my-claude-sisyphus.

What oh-my-claudecode does
- oh-my-claudecode runs `/autopilot` to take a natural-language task, such as building a REST API, through planning and execution inside Claude Code.
- oh-my-claudecode Team mode runs a staged pipeline: team-plan, team-prd, team-exec, team-verify, and a team-fix loop.
- oh-my-claudecode `omc team` spawns tmux worker panes running Codex, Gemini, Antigravity, Grok, Cursor, or Claude CLIs. Each worker exits when its task completes.
- oh-my-claudecode `/ask` and `omc ask` route questions to providers including claude, codex, gemini, antigravity, grok, cursor, and muse.
- oh-my-claudecode `/deep-interview` uses Socratic questioning to clarify vague requirements and expose hidden assumptions before any code is written.
- oh-my-claudecode `omc lookout scan` is an advisory pre-flight scan that reports danger findings in the task briefing and workspace before unattended runs.
- oh-my-claudecode's npm package exports TypeScript helpers such as `createOmcSession()` for Node.js programs using `@anthropic-ai/claude-agent-sdk`.
How it works
oh-my-claudecode has two surfaces. Installed as a Claude Code plugin, it adds slash-command skills such as /autopilot, /ralph, /team, and /deep-interview inside a session. Installed through npm, it provides the `omc` CLI, which can launch tmux worker panes for external agent CLIs. Configuration lives in `.claude/omc.jsonc` per project or `~/.config/claude-omc/config.jsonc` per user.
How to install and start using oh-my-claudecode
As a Claude Code plugin (step 1)
/plugin marketplace add https://github.com/Yeachan-Heo/oh-my-claudecodeAs a Claude Code plugin (step 2)
/plugin install oh-my-claudecodeWith npm (CLI)
npm i -g oh-my-claude-sisyphus@latestRequirements
- Claude Code, for the plugin and in-session skills.
- Node.js 20.x through 26.x for the npm package.
- An active tmux session, plus the selected worker CLI (codex, gemini, agy, grok, or cursor-agent) installed and authenticated, for `omc team` workers.
- ANTHROPIC_API_KEY or provider-specific CLI auth in the runner environment for CI/CD use.
First steps
- Install the plugin by entering the two /plugin commands one at a time. Pasting both lines together fails.
- Run setup with `/omc-setup` inside a Claude Code session, or `omc setup` from your terminal.
- Start a task with `/autopilot "build a REST API for managing tasks"` inside a session.
- If requirements are unclear, run `/deep-interview "I want to build a task management app"` first.
Who oh-my-claudecode is for
- Claude Code users who want multi-agent team workflows without learning Claude Code's internals.
- Developers who want Codex, Gemini, Cursor, or Grok CLIs working in parallel tmux panes on review or implementation tasks.
- Developers starting from a vague idea who want requirements clarified before code is written.
Limitations to know
- oh-my-claudecode ships no VS Code or IDE extension. It works only through the Claude Code plugin or the terminal CLI.
- Interactive slash commands such as /autopilot and /team require an active Claude Code session and should not be used in CI.
- Named autopilot workflow profiles currently require Linux with the `flock` utility.
- Native Claude Code teams require setting CLAUDE_CODE_EXPERIMENTAL_AGENT_TEAMS in settings. Without it, OMC falls back to non-team execution where possible.

Can oh-my-claudecode run in CI/CD?
Yes, through deterministic terminal commands such as omc setup, omc ask, and omc session search. Set ANTHROPIC_API_KEY or provider-specific CLI auth in the runner environment. Interactive slash commands need an active Claude Code session, so do not use them in CI.
Does oh-my-claudecode still use MCP servers for Codex and Gemini?
No. Version 4.4.0 removed the Codex and Gemini MCP servers. Use omc team to spawn real tmux worker panes for those CLIs instead.
Is the npm warning about prebuild-install a failed oh-my-claudecode install?
No. The deprecated [email protected] warning comes from the upstream better-sqlite3 dependency. The warning does not by itself mean the OMC CLI install failed.
